About Eco Detectives

Join our Learning team to explore four Scottish ecosystems through real museum specimens, quizzes, and digital microscopy.

Pupils will analyse clues, examine wildlife evidence up close and investigate a mystery poo to identify the animal behind it.

What will my pupils do in the session?

Pupils will:

  • Explore four Scottish ecosystems
  • Investigate real museum specimens from each habitat
  • Examine microscopic details using digital microscopy
  • Use evidence and observation skills to identify species
  • Solve a wildlife mystery using scientific enquiry and teamwork.
