Careers Hive is an immersive careers event for S1–3 students presented by Edinburgh Science Learning.
Careers Hive is Edinburgh Science’s immersive careers education event designed to give students between the ages of 11–14 a new way to think about their futures. It highlights the opportunities available to those who study STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering and maths), as well as the cross-disciplinary skills and subjects that can support and enhance STEM careers.
You can also visit our Science and Technology galleries during your day. Please inform Edinburgh Science upon booking if you wish to arrange this.

What will my pupils do in the session:
Through hands-on activities, pupils explore different STEM topics with STEM professionals, who are on hand to answer questions and share their career experiences. Group workshops let pupils discover the cross-disciplinary skills they already possess that can support and enhance future STEM careers.

Up to 600 pupils per day

Careers Hive takes place from Monday 6 – Friday 10 November for schools, with a public open day on Saturday 11 November.
