- Engraved silver communion beaker with uneven interlocking design on the rim, along with an assay mark, and ornate tendrils of foliage, fruit and flowers that mirror the design of IL.2010.39.1. Dedicatory inscription around the middle of the vessel reads: 'Giuen to the kirk of Ellen be Johne Mideltowne burges and baxter in abd. Anno. 1642'. The family arms are engraved below in a circle inscribed with the phrase 'I REJOICE IN THE LORD FOR THE LORD IS ONELY MY SVPPORT'.
