
About Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2018
Wildlife Photographer of the Year is the most prestigious photography event of its kind, showcasing the very best in nature photography and presenting the beauty and drama of the natural world, from fascinating animal behaviours to breath-taking wild landscapes.
The competition launched in 1965 with 361 entries. In this, its 53rd year, it has received almost 50,000 entries from amateur and professional photographers from 92 countries, highlighting its enduring global appeal.
On loan from the Natural History Museum in London, this world-renowned touring exhibition featured acclaimed photographs displayed on large-format, backlit panels, as they are at the Natural History Museum’s own exhibition showing.
