Other Scottish collections

As well as looking at over 11,000 artefacts in the four partner museums, the project team visited some of the other collections of Pacific material across Scotland.

Research visits were made to five Scottish museums which house Pacific material including: McLean Museum and Art Gallery, Greenock; Hunterian Museum at University of Glasgow; Stirling Smith Art Gallery and Museum; Museum of the Cumbraes, Millport (North Ayrshire Council Museums); and North Lanarkshire Council Museums.

These collections range in size from 10 to 600 objects.
