Wellbeing Wanders

Enjoy a 30 minute wander around the museum and discover mindful moments throughout our galleries.

Join us on a guided walk around the museum for Wellbeing Week. Explore the collections and take part in mini mindful sessions at each stop along the way with these short, free guided walks. 

Sign up opens from 11:15 at the green drinking fountain in the Grand Gallery, Level 1. Please note, places are limited and will be offered on a first come, first served basis.

This event is part of our Wellbeing Week, Monday 13–Sunday 19 May, to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Week.

• The route will be accessible by lift
• The route will be accessible to participants using wheelchairs or those with mobility issues

We want everyone who comes to our museums to enjoy their time with us and make the most of their visit. 

• There is level access to the Museum via the main doors to the Entrance Hall on Chambers Street and the Tower entrance at the corner of Chambers Street and George IV Bridge.  
• Lifts are available to all floors and accessible toilets are available on Levels 0 and 3, as well as a Changing Places (U) toilet in the Entrance Hall on Level 0. 
• Wheelchairs are available for loan at no charge. Please note wheelchairs cannot be booked in advance. On arrival, ask about availability at the Information Desk. Small mobility scooters are permitted inside the museum.
• Guide dogs, hearing dogs and other recognised assistance dogs are admitted.
