Physical description

Stone. These scenes depict the progression of Prince Siddhartha to Buddha status. At the top he is still Prince Siddhartha, at the bottom he his Maitreya, the Buddha to Come, and in the centre he is the Buddha dressed in monastic robes and preaching the doctrine.
