Woman's 'robe de style' evening dress of black satin, sleeveless, featuring a dropped waist with full pannier hips, with deep v-shaped neckline infilled with an insert of nude or pale pink gauze, featuring art deco-inspired embroidery comprising of colourless glass beads, glass imitation diamonds and glass imitation pearls forming a central v-shape shape on the centre front of the bodice and in a band encircling the waist, the decoration continues down the centre front of the skirt, by Jeanne Lanvin, Paris, France, Autumn/Winter 1926/27
