Filming

National Museums Scotland incorporates four diverse museums, each of which offer a variety of unique filming locations.

Should you be looking to film in an iconic plane, at a rural setting or on a roof top location, we have a large selection of varied options available. We welcome filming enquiries of all types, be it a TV drama, photo shoot or major feature film.

Our museums have been used for various productions including the feature films - The Wife and Fast & Furious 9 and television drama - Ian Rankin’s The Falls, plus a range of promotional photo shoots.
