Description

Chair of chromium-plated, tubular steel: German, probably Gebrüder Thonet, c. 1930, designed by Mies van der Rohe, 1927. Modern leather seat. Originally purchased by the painter Eileen Agar in 1930 for her bedroom when it was redesigned by Rodney Thomas.
