Cup with gently flared sides and low footring, wood decorated with black lacquer and foliate designs in gold, interior decorated with red lacquer, cup and stand sets (tuki) of Japanese lacquer were used by the Ainu in ceremonies: Japan, 19th century, collected in Hokkaido, Ainu
