Black plastic folder contained within transparent plastic folder (K.2010.94.138.7.1.3). Front cover printed with white inscription 'Personal Colour Guide by Bernat Klein' with colour strip in shades of green below titled 'THE KEY: THE COLOUR OF YOUR EYES.' Inscription printed in brown on left 'No. 6'. Back cover printed in white with instructions for use and copyright information. Inside has small transparent plastic sections containing coloured strips of felted wool and a colour diagram of an iris. Colour strips annotated with inscriptions printed in white indicating their relevance to dressing, divided into groups; 'Basic Colours', 'harmonising colours', 'Contrasting colours' and 'Neutral colours'. Colours in shades of orange, brown, green, pink, purple, blue, yellow and grey. Shelley Klein in coversation with Fiona Anderson in 2010 suggested the colours of the Personal Colour Guides had changed from the original. Designed by Bernat Klein. British, c. 1965 - 1980.
