Jeongak jango

Description

Jeongak jango (hourglass drum), body of wood painted in red lacquer with small circular motifs in yellow and black, membranes of cow skin, and bound with orange nylon strings and blue cotton fastenings, used to lead the rhythm of ritualistic proceedings, part of the Korean Shaman Collection: Korea, 1960s
