Expertise:

Juan Pablo holds an MSc in Archaeological Science from Oxford University. He joined NMS as Heritage Science Analyst in July 2025. Juan is particularly interested in research of material culture using non-invasive analysis, with a special focus on X Ray Fluorescence and other spectroscopic techniques. Having worked as a sabbatical officer and summer programmes manager at the University of St Andrews, he also draws on his experience with team management in the Higher Education sector to improve cross-team work processes in the Heritage Sector.
