About Farm to Fork

What’s in our food and where does it come from? Through team games and challenges, pupils explore the journey of food from farm to fork.

They will investigate food miles and discover how choosing local produce can make a positive impact on the planet. This engaging workshop is designed to bring learning for sustainability to life.

What will my pupils do in the workshop?

Working in groups, pupils will participate in a range of activities:

  • Match the animals from our farm with the food they produce
  • Investigate and identify the ingredients in popular dishes
  • Complete a food miles challenge.

This session takes place in our Learning Centre. Pupils will have the opportunity to visit the farm during their visit.

We cannot guarantee that our Farm Explorer tractor-trailer will be running during your visit.

Great learning experience to develop understanding and enthusiasm for a Farming topic.
