What will my pupils do?
Pupils will get the opportunity to:
- Encounter life-sized giants and see 3D models and nearly complete fossil skeletons of prehistoric giants such as Titanoboa (giant snake), Paraceratherium (giant rhinoceros), Otodus megalodon (giant shark), Megatherium (giant sloth), and more
- Step into the shoes of a palaeontologist: handle replica fossils, use interactive displays, and discover how scientists study ancient life
- Explore digital projections and reconstructions of ancient habitats, bringing extinct giants to life
- Learn about today’s giant animals (elephants, whales, gorillas) and the challenges they face, highlighting conservation and environmental stewardship
- Investigate why these giants grew so large, how they survived, and what led to their extinction
- Connect science, social studies, and technology through real-world contexts and interactive learning
