Please donate today to conserve the Peebles Hoard and help reveal the stories of life in Bronze Age Scotland.

The Peebles Hoard is one of the most significant Bronze Age hoards ever found in Scotland, with little else like it known from western Europe.

It contains rare bronze objects, some never seen before in Scotland, and there is some exceptional preservation of organic material within the hoard. The hoard includes many decorated bronze fittings, studs and pins still attached to leather or wood.

The conservation of the hoard has so far been generously supported by The Leche Trust, the Pilgrim Trust and many individual donors and private trusts, thank you. We are now in the early stages of a three-year conservation project and we are already unlocking secrets about Bronze Age Britain.

We have currently raised over 80% of our £200,289 target, for us to be able to complete our three-year investigative conservation programme to stabilise and preserve the hoard. This will make it available for the public to see, enable continued study and allows its stories to be told for years to come.

Please make a donation today so that we can preserve and research the hoard, for the next generation.
