We’re reopening our museums
After nearly five months of closure, we have started to welcome visitors back to our museums with a phased reopening.
National Museums Scotland are always interested in feedback whether it’s good or bad.

National Museums Scotland reviews its approach to pricing on an annual basis.
National Museums Scotland have a non-refundable and non-transferable ticketing policy.
Customers will only be provided with a refund if the event, activity has been cancelled by the Museum or Museum closure has taken place due to circumstances out with our control.
If an event is cancelled, the Museum will sometimes reschedule to a new date, if this occurs we would aim to transfer as many ticket holders as possible to attend on the revised date.
If you have a question about our refund policy please email email@example.com.
When purchasing a concession ticket online or by phone please ensure you bring the appropriate identification with you as you may be asked to show it (e.g. Student Id card, UB40).
National Museums of Scotland run various promotions throughout the year; free entry, 2 for 1 entry etc. In the event you are taking up any of these offers you will be required at point of entry to pass your name, address and phone or email address and where applicable membership number and any voucher as part of our entry promotion requirement.
Tickets may be subject to a transaction booking fee and postal costs.
We will record the first name, surname, email address, telephone number and arrival time of all ticket bookers and we reserve the right to refuse entry if these details are not provided.
We are supporting NHS Scotland’s Test and Protect service and may share this data with the service up to 21 days following your visit.
