Throughout 2022, we want to work with local museums across Scotland to integrate more maths into their museum programming and provide support to take part in Maths Week Scotland.

Maths Week Scotland is a focal week of activity taking place in autumn aimed at a wide range of audiences. In addition to the week itself there are special events and resources available for schools, families, adults and community groups through the year. In 2022, Maths Week Scotland will take place between 26 September and 2 October.
Across Maths Week Scotland, we want people of all ages and backgrounds to:
Maths Week Scotland works with a range of organisations including universities, science centres, heritage organisation and maths institutes. These organisations offer special events or resources during Maths Week Scotland and often year round.
Raising the profile of maths in existing activities as well as the creation of new events and resources around maths is an important way to achieve the above aims.
We would love to see more museums highlighting the maths and numeracy in their learning offers. Maths Week Scotland can support with promotion of your events and activities.
