About the artists

Moteh Parrott

Born in Cameroon to parents working in rainforest conservation and given the local name ‘Mnkongmoteh’, his music compliments Celtic-infused guitars and cello with lyrics of hope and healing. The result has been likened to 'a Highland wilderness with all the sweeping colour and spirit which that encompasses'.

Grace Stewart Skinner

Grace is a vibrant up-and-coming clàrsach player from the Scottish Highlands who lives with cerebral palsy. She has been surrounded by Traditional Scottish music her whole life and is passionate about sharing it with as many people as possible.

Kristina Leesik and Séamus Ó’Baoighill

Séamus Ó Baoighill and Kristina Leesik came together in Glasgow 2021 whilst studying a masters in traditional music at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Their duo draws upon the strong cultural connections between the Scottish & Swedish traditions, through vocals, pipes & fiddles.

Katy Bell

Katy is an experienced Cellist, with a particular love of teaching and community music, playing for local schools, care homes, and resource centres, as well as chamber music concerts across the country.
