About Biodiversity: Life in Scotland
Join our Learning Enablers and learn about four different ecosystems in Scotland through objects, games and microscopic imagery.
What will my pupils do in the session?
Pupils will:
- Find out about the four ecosystems surrounding our museum sites
- Investigate some of our museum specimens for each ecosystem
- See close-up evidence from our digital microscope and make detailed observations
- Play our food web game to explore wider issues around biodiversity
About Digital Schools Sessions
Our Digital Schools Sessions bring the museum to your classroom. Our free sessions are led by our team of Enablers and are broadcast using Microsoft Teams.
It was interactive, informative and was great for getting the children to think more locally about ecosystems. The children were engaged and loved to see the skulls and the insects etc, up close under the microscope.
