About Careers Hive
Careers Hive is Edinburgh Science’s immersive careers education event designed to give students between the ages of 11–14 a new way to think about their futures.
It highlights the opportunities available to those who study STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering and maths), as well as the cross-disciplinary skills and subjects that can support and enhance STEM careers.
Careers Hive takes place from Monday 27 October 2025 - Thursday 30 October 2025.
What will my pupils do at Careers Hive?
Through hands-on activities, pupils will:
- Explore different STEM topics through hands-on activities
- Engage with STEM professionals to answer questions and share career experiences
- Enhance future STEM careers with existing skills
You can also visit our Science and Technology galleries during your day. Please inform Edinburgh Science upon booking if you wish to arrange this.
