About Celts in Conflict

Imagine living in Scotland 2,000 years ago when the Romans arrived. What would you do? Flee? Fight? Befriend them? Discuss this, and discover what our ancestors did, in this this lively, interactive session.

What will my pupils do in the session?

Pupils will:

  • Learn about the varied responses to the Romans in Scotland
  • Discover how the Romans interacted with the locals by exploring objects from our Collection
  • Investigate and identify a mystery object
  • Get a chance to interact and ask questions.

Read our FAQs for further information about our sessions

Highly informative and engaging sessions and an accessible learning experience for pupils who might not get to visit a museum! All my pupils thoroughly enjoy these!
