About On the Farm
Take your class on a fun, engaging trip to the National Museum of Rural Life - without leaving the classroom! Pupils explore how food, farming and animal welfare all connect.
Packed with lively visuals, this session brings modern farming to life for curious young learners.
What will my pupils do in the session?
Pupils will:
- Meet some of our animals who are not quite themselves
- Discover the methods we use to keep our farm animals happy and healthy
- Investigate the links between animal happiness, health and food production
- Learn how to use evidence, observation and data to better understand how animals are cared for on a real-life farm.
Please note: This session is pre-recorded. A link to this pre-recorded session will be sent to you via email the morning of your booked session.
