About Legends, Myths and Maths: A Journey Through Scotland

Did you know dinosaurs roamed the Isle of Skye 165 million years ago? Or that Scotland’s crown jewels were once hidden in a toilet? Join author David Macphail to explore the myths, legends, wildlife and landscapes of Scotland, with hidden maths. This fun and interactive talk for families is presented by Maths Week Scotland, which this year explores 'Wild Maths: the maths all around us'. 

There will be a book signing following the talk.

David MacPhail is the author of the Lollies-shortlisted Thorfinn the Nicest Viking series, the Top-Secret Grandad series, the Velda the Awesomest Viking series, An Amazing Illustrated Atlas of Scotland and An Amazing History Atlas of Scotland. He lives in Perthshire, Scotland.
