Physical description

Painting, entitled 'Lichen 3', in acrylic or oil painted with impasto technique, abstract image made up of vertically curving lines in shades of green, grey, white, blue and yellow. Signed on the front lower right via scrape into painted surface 'Klein 66'. Painted and applied onto prepared canvas. Canvas stretched over timber frame with cross bar support. Frame painted in green-grey. Frame with sticker on upper back handwritten in ink '112 LICHEN 3', on canvas stretched over frame, handwritten in ink '26' and handwritten on frame in pencil '75'. Sticker on top of frame with inscription handwritten in ink 'PU29'.
