National Museum of Flight
Located on the site of the UK’s best preserved Second World War airfield and with a collection of over 50 aircraft, the museum is a rich learning environment for pupils keen to find out about the World Wars, science and technology.
We offer school visits year round. During our closed season from November to March schools can book workshops led by our learning team, which include full guided access to the site. Self-led visits, as well as workshops, are available from April to October.

Do you have safety guidelines?
We ask that pupils visiting in school groups are accompanied at all times during their visit at a ratio of:
1 adult: 5 pupils (under the age of 5)

Where pupils require support on a 1:1 ratio, this adult should be included over and above these ratios.

In addition, please read and follow any safety notices and instructions from Visitor Experience staff.
