Woman's dress of black net, embroidered with a floral design of large buds and small flowers in black silk thread. Low wide neckline trimmed with a self-material ruffle, under-bust waistline and centre back tie fastenings. Full-length skirt gathered into rear waistline and full-length sleeves with narrow self-material ruffle at cuff. Part of an ensemble with cotton under-dress A.1963.459 A: British, c. 1810-1820.
