Woman's headscarf, part of an ensemble with A.1994.1036 A & B, in fine woven wool of Farquharson tartan, chequered with crossing stripes of dark green, dark blue, narrow red and narrow yellow, consisting of a flat length of material with a narrow fringe at each end, belonged to Frances Strickland Lovell Oldham, also known as Frances Farquharson of Invercauld: Scottish, c. 1950s
