Description

Adze haft, carved wood with a tiki figure, the eyes are inlaid with haliotis (paua) shell, attached to nephrite stone blade (A.1890.564) with fibre: Oceania, Polynesia, New Zealand, North Island, Eastern Bay of Plenty, Māori, early 19th century
