A piece of masi (barkcloth) in the masi bolabola style with painted decoration in dark brown and red, with bands of vertical stripes, diagonal chevrons, four eight-pointed stars, and striped diagonal fringing along the longest edges: Polynesia, Fiji, late 19th century
