Brass. An oval box; inside, the base contains an image and the lid a mirror, with inscriptions both on the outside and inside. INSCRIPTIONS. Base – inside containing the image (Translation): May God bless he who resembles this image. / Haji Mullā Qāsim / Haji Mullā Qāsim / And God…… / [lord] Al-Hussain. Base – engraving on the outside (Translation): Va Al-Mussa Al-Kazem va Reza va Muhammad Taqi Al-Javad va Al-Naqi Al-Askari Hajat Al-Qaem Al-Mahdi AnAllah va sala / O Judge / Help from God and a near victory / O Proof. The Lid – engraving on the outside (Translation): Allahum sal ala / Al-Mustafa Muhammad / Al-Murteza va Ali / va Al-Batul Fatemeh / Al-Hassan va Al-Hussain / va Ali [Al-Nabi ?] / Al-Hassan va Muhammad Al-Baqir / va Sadeq Jafar / God the compassionate / Oh Judge of necessities / God the beneficent.
