Cuff, woman's

Description

One of a pair of cuffs from a woman's dress, in blue silk, slightly corded, embellished with applique design of flowers and leaves embroidered in multi-coloured silks and gilt metal thread, the motifs were embroidered onto linen before being cut-out and applied to the silk: possibly British, c. 1730 - 1750
