Embroidered bodice panel (jig) from the front of a woman's dress (pask, pashk), T-shaped with a multicoloured geometric pattern and two cords comprised of threads loosely twisted, with tassels bound in metal thread, tied at the top of the opening: Asia, South Asia, Iran or Pakistan, Baluch or Brahui or Mengal, early - mid 20th century

Physical description

Embroidered bodice panel (jig), T-shaped with two cords comprised of threads loosely twisted, with tassels bound in metallic thread, tied at the top of the opening. The motif at the bottom of the central patterned strip (toi) is a circle above a cross, with a further two crosses on either side, each with a floral motif in the corner. With a red border.
