Figure of Jambupati Buddha seated in the earth-witness pose or Bhumisparsa mudra, and wearing a pointed three-tiered headdress with openwork wings, ear-studs and a breast escutcheon, carved from teak, originally gilt and picked out in red: Southeast Asia, Myanmar or Thailand, possibly Shan, late 18th - 19th century
