It was established in 2002 to facilitate the commercial activities of National Museums Scotland. It provides support by gifting its potential profit to National Museums Scotland at the end of each financial year.
The company has departments in Publishing, Retail, and Hospitality & Events, as well as responsibility for the National Museums Scotland Picture Library and related activities of image licensing, copyright and product development.

Location: Edinburgh
Contract: Temporary part-time, 4 to 5 days a week which will include a combination of mornings, afternoons and weekends on a variable rota
Pay rate: £19,121 gross per annum pro-rata (equivalent to £9.90 per hour)

We are seeking bright, enthusiastic people with a strong work ethic to be part of our Retail team and contribute to the generation of vital income to support the Museum.
Retail Assistants need to be passionate about working with the public and will be part of a team so require the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with others. The retail operation is spread across multiple retail outlets, so an energetic, flexible and pro-active approach is necessary. The Museums are open seven days a week and the positions are based in Edinburgh.
