Model of a 15-inch Samson electric chain-type coal cutter, designed by Mavor and Coulson Ltd of Glasgow for operation from the top of a chain conveyor, shown resting upon three pans of chain conveyor and equipped with a double jib, to a scale of 3 inches to 1 foot, made in the Museum Workshop
