Pail, of cut and folded birch bark, stitched with blue and white quills, the rim reinforced by a bent stick lashed with split spruce roots and red, blue and white porcupine quills, has thong carrying strap, used for carrying water or berries: North America, Canada, Northwest Territories, Great Slave Lake, Fort Rae, Tłı̨chǫ, c. 1860
