Physical description

Box with lid and on four feet; made from wood covered on the exterior with thin layers of khatem kari (mosaic) work on all sides except the bottom; front and lid inset with silver plaques in repousse showing Ahura Mazda and scenes from the Achaemenid palace at Persepolis (king on throne with fly whisk bearer behind from Audience Hall).
