Airwave Magic Kiss

The Magic Kiss hang glider was first produced in 1989.

The Magic Kiss quickly became a standard hang gliding club aircraft after pilots flying the new model in 1989 won the European and World Hang Gliding Championships.

Airwave Gliders Ltd was established on the Isle of Wight in 1979 to produce licence-built versions of the Ultralite Comet hang glider from the USA. Airwave developed its own copy, called the Magic. The Magic Kiss was a development of the Airwave Magic.

This Magic Kiss was used by a hang glider pilot from Biggar in Lanarkshire for several years. He flew it in several hang gliding competitions and became European Champion.
